Research Design/Method: Classroom Action Research In sustaining the research result, two types of data are collected; qualitative data that derived from observation and interview toward the students and the teacher as well. On the other hand, the quantitative data that derived from the test result; pre-test and post test result. Then, those data analyzed by the researcher by using descriptive analysis and statistic analysis to know the final result of the implementation scrabble game toward students English language learning in the Classroom Action Research (CAR).

Abstract

The research is conducted in order to describe the application of reinforcing students‟ vocabulary through scrabble game at the first grade students of MTs Nurussalam Pondok Pinang.
A Classroom Action Research (CAR) used as the research method in this study in overcoming students‟ problem of learning English especially in vocabulary. Kemmis and McTaggart design is used in this research, in which consists of four phases; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting per cycle. In sustaining the research result, two types of data are collected; qualitative data that derived from observation and interview toward the students and the teacher as well. On the other hand, the quantitative data that derived from the test result; pre-test and post test result. Then, those data analyzed by the researcher by using descriptive analysis and statistic analysis to know the final result of the implementation scrabble game toward students English language learning in the Classroom Action Research (CAR).
The result of this research shows that using scrabble game activities in teaching vocabulary at first grade of MTs Nurussalam Pondok Pinang can motivate the students to learn English and reinforce their vocabulary ability. The students‟ responses showed that they were interested to learn English vocabulary because they thought that the activities were interesting. Moreover, the students‟ achievement in pre-test and post-test which are analyzed that showed a significant improvement. The students‟ average score in pre-test was 62,84 and the average score in post-test was 76,38 while the improvement of students‟ average score in pre-test and post-test was 13,54. From this result, the researcher concluded that teaching vocabulary using scrabble game activities at first grade of MTs Nurussalam Pondok Pinang can improve students‟ vocabulary ability.

Abstract
The study is aimed to know the problem faced by the second grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat in learning modal Auxiliary, the writer wants to give a description in learning modal Auxiliary especially in Can and Could, to make it easy for the students. The writer wants to know not only their reason in difficulties in using modal Auxiliaries but also the level of students’ comprehension in using modal Auxiliaries.

To collect data, the writer observes the second grade students of Mts Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat by giving the test and interview the students who got low score. The writer uses a descriptive analysis technique with visiting the school to do research, the writer gives them the test about Modal Auxiliary in meaning, function and form.

After interviewing the students who have low score, the writer conclude that the students’ difficulties in learning modal auxiliaries were came from the internal factor, that most interviewee facing the difficulties caused by the interest, they do not attention to the teacher explanation, beside that the cause of difficulties are caused by their motivation in learning English subject.

Abstract
This research was conducted to enrich students’ vocabulary by using word cards at second grade of marketing program SMK Nusantara Class XI.2, SMK Nusntara, Ciputat, South Tangerang. In conducting this research, the writers used classroom action research as a method. She presented the students new vocabularies by using word cards. The research consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisted three meetings ( the test was not included as meeting). This research was carried out for one month. In collecting the data, the writer conducting interview, observation, and tests ( pre test and post test ). From this research, the students could enrich their vocabulary by using word cards, it was improved by the scores of pre test and post test. In pre test, the mean of students’ score was 54.4,there was only one student passing KKM, while the percentage of students passing KKM was 3.44%, the score improved in post test 1, it was in the first cycle, the mean was 74, there were 15 students passing KKM, the percentage of students passing KKM was 51.72, it improved again in the second cycle, the mean was 84, there were 25 students passing KKM and the percentage was 86.20%. From the result of the whole tests the writer concludes that using word cards for enriching vocabulary of students SMK Nusantara class XI.2 marketing program is successful, since the criteria of action success is 75%.

Abstract
This research paper is mainly intended to find out whether the English textbook used for the second year student of Dharma Karya junior high school “English on Sky 2” develops the skills suggested by the school-based curriculum and communicative exercises. In line with the objectives of the research, the writer used a descriptive method. In collecting the data, he used document as data source. The data were analyzed by these steps: (1) Finding out the kinds of skill and communicative exercise available on the textbook, (2) Classifying them, (3) Analyzing them, (4) Counting and adding them, (5) Giving percentage from the total number, (6) Judging whether the data are appropriate with indicators in school-based curriculum or not, and (7) Drawing conclusion and proposing suggestions. The result of the analysis shows that the percentage of the appropriateness of the skills developed in the textbook is 85, 71%. It means that the textbook is compatible with the School-based Curriculum in developing skills. While the percentage gained in developing the communicative exercises is 80%. The result of study implies that the teacher should supply the textbook analyzed with other books which much better in order to achieve the goal of teaching English. The writer of the textbook should revise the textbook and add more text, activities and communicative exercises to increase the quality of the textbook

Abstract
This research is purposed to analyze the correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and their reading ability. In this research, the writer used quantitative method by Pearson correlation product moment. There are two variables in this research. Students’ vocabulary as independent variable (variable X) and Reading ability as dependent variable (variable Y), the technique of collecting data was by using a test. The test consists of 20 items of vocabulary test and 20 items of reading comprehension. The object of study is 40 students from class VIII A at the second grade students of SMP YMJ Ciputat in the academic year 2010/2011. From the calculation by using product moment formula, it was found out that the mean of the scores of the vocabulary test is 60.375. The mean of the scores of the students’ achievement in reading comprehension is 45.75. The result of applying the rxy (ro) distribution shows that the coefficient correlation is 0.68. The degree of significance 5% is 0.304 and the degree of significance 1% is 0.393. It means ro is higher than rt (0.68 > 0.304) and (0.68 > 0.393). So, alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The conclusion of this research is there is a significant correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and their reading ability.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the discriminating power of English Summative test at second grade of “SMPN” 87 Pondok Pinang. Through this study, it is hoped that the teacher can get clear description about the quality of discriminating power of English summative, so the teacher is able to help the poor students. This study is categorized as descriptive analysis; because it is intended to describe the objective condition about the discriminating power of students’ English summative test at odd semester of second grade of “SMPN 87” Pondok Pinang by analyzing the quality of English summative test items in discriminating students’ achievement. This study is considered as quantitative research, because the researcher used some numerical data which is analyzed statistically. The finding of this study is that the English summative test which is tested at second grade of “SMPN 87” Pondok Pinang has good discriminating power, because 35 items ranging from 0.25 until 0.75 (70%) of the test items have fulfilled the criteria of a positive discriminating power.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the objective condition of the effectiveness of using dialogue technique in teaching simple present tense at the first grade of Islamic junior high school. The aim of the research is to gain the information about the effectiveness of dialogue technique in reinforcing the understanding of the simple present tense. Especially it is conducted to get the effective technique in teaching simple present tense at the first grade of the students in MTsN Tangerang II Pamulang in Bina prestasi class 2. the sample of the research was 24 students of the first grade students of MTsN Tangerang II Pamulang. This research using preexperimental method of the quantitative form by collecting data from observation and test. The data collected in this research were analyzed by using t-test. According to the result of statistical calculation, it was obtain the value of to (t observation) that 5.46 and the value of “tt” (t table) from the df (24) on the degree of significance of 5% is 2.07. it means that the value of to is higher than the value of tt. Based on the result the null hypothesis (Ho) which says there is no significance influence of using dialogue technique in simple present tense is rejected. It means that the alternative hypothesis (ha) which says there is significance influence of using dialogue technique in teaching simple present tense is accepted. Based on the finding of this study, it can be concluded that dialogue technique is effective and quite success because it can lead the students to be able to learn simple present tense well.

Abstract
The purpose of the research is to gain information about teaching Preposition of Place through Total Physical Response at the fifth grade students of SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir III, Tangerang Selatan. Sample of this research is 25 students I the control class and 25 students in the experiment class. This research is using experiment method in the quantitative form by collecting data from Pre- Test and Post-Test. The data collected in this research analyzed by using t-test. According to result of statistical calculation, it is obtained the value of (to) (t observation) is 3,49 and the value of (tt) (t table) from the df (48) on degree of significance of 5% is 2,01. it means that the value of the (to) is higher than the value of (tt0. based on the result, the null hypothesis (Ho) which says there is no significance influence in teaching Preposition of Place through total Physical Response is rejected. It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which says that there is significance influence in teaching Preposition of Place through Total Physical Response is accepted. Based on the finding of the study it can be concluded that teaching Preposition of Place through Total Physical Response is quite success and can run well in the class situation. It also can give students opportunities to be active in the teaching learning process.

Abstract
Based on the research in SMP 1 Negeri Pontang Serang-Banten, the data is derived among from the test (pretest and posttest), interview, and observation. Therefore, this study is included into quantitative descriptive research. The findings of this study are: (1) related to the test result, there was 27.14% improvement of students’ mean vocabulary score after using pictures; It gained from the pretest result, there were three students who passed the KKM. Then in the result of posttest in cycle 1, there were 12 or 33.33% students in the class who passed the KKM considering their mean score of the test is 58.47. Next in the result of posttest in the cycle 2, there is 31 or 86.11% students who passed the KKM in which their mean score of vocabulary test derived 71.11. (2) Related to the observation result showed that the students were more active and interested in learning vocabulary activity in the classroom. Indeed, they could analyze the characteristics of pictures learning vocabulary. (3) Related to the interview result, it could be known that the students’ vocabulary by using pictures has improved and also assisted the teacher in finding the appropriate strategy in teaching vocabulary.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the error of students’ writing at second grade of SMP Cendrawasih 1 Cipete. Through this study, it is hoped that the students can learn from their error and the teacher is able to help the students to solve the problem. This study is categorized as descriptive Analysis, because it is intended to describe the objective condition about the students’ writing in tenses by analyzing the errors. This study is considered as quantitative research, because the researcher used some numerical data which is analyzed statistically. The finding of this study is that the highest percentage of error is past continous tense with percentage 69.75%. The errors could happen because mother tongue interference, lack of the media, teacher’s unclear explanation, and less concentration.
